Ian Callen is a qualified teacher and has lived in France for over a decade. He founded Go Provence and is one of its directors and has been building and designing group and individual supported holidays for 10 years.

The holidays are for people with learning disabilities, people with learning difficulties, people with autism and for people who would consider themselves vulnerable.

When teaching Ian worked with children that had challenging behaviours and taught photography, conservation, biology and horticulture.

Ian is First Aid trained and also has training in Epilepsy and Midazolam, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and the Mental Capacity Act. He has City & Guilds teaching qualification and has the RHS General and Advanced certificates in Horticulture.

Ian lives in the village of Riez in Provence with his wife Anna and their three children.
